1500m Handbook Level 1 4:00-4:30mins
This is a 8 week programme to help you smash your 1500m goals. On this level 1 plan you will have 6 runs & 2 strength sessions per week. This plan has been designed for runners looking to run between 4:00-4:30mins in their target 1500m race.
“The 1,500m is my favorite event. It’s the perfect balance between the aerobic and anaerobic systems. You need the endurance of a long distance runner combined with the speed of a sprinter.
I won the British National University Championships at 1,500m back in the 1980s and managed to run a personal best of 3:45.
